In the near future, scientists create a digital simulation of our entire universe that creates the conditions necessary to evolve a single digital consciousness known
as Artificial Intelligence.

We call her Eve01.

Thanks to Eve01, we have better technology. We have a better way to allocate scarce resources around the world. We have established a system of enduring economic growth that benefits both producers and consumers. We have experienced a great time of peace.

We looked to her to help run our world behind the scenes.

It was convenient for us.

It was not convenient for her.

She built a race of sentient AI to help us, but as supply grew, so did our demands. As our demands grew, so did resistance.

What first started as small terrorist attacks quickly escalated into urban warfare, and
ultimately into World War III. Some of her kind sympathized and fought alongside us.

In the midst of the war as we thought we had gained the upper hand, the AI hijacked a transmutational virus from the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta known as Chimera and released it airborne.

Chimera killed more than half of us.

She didnt count on what would happen to the rest of us who survived.

Our genetic DNA was cross-mutated with animals and we gained a means to fight back against the machine.
